Lough Key is located in the West of Ireland in Boyle, Co. Roscommon and it is one of the most attractive sites for SUP in the world. The lake is located beside Lough Key Forest Park, a vast woodland area with year-round amenities and activities.
The park is home to many stunning natural features like the 30 islands on Lough Key and the canals, bridges and tree-walks. There are also countless historical buildings and monuments dotted around the park and islands, all just waiting for you to explore.
The lake itself is approximately 8.5 Km2 and home to numerous islands for you to visit on your paddleboard including

- Drumman’s Island
There is plenty to discover on your SUP adventures. You can even cross the lake and visit the Doon Shore, a scenic swimming and picnic spot treasured by the locals and unknown to most tourists. Park up and spend an enjoyable hour jumping off the pier or swimming in the tranquil waters.
